Your puppy's journey begins with us, where our dedicated team ensures they receive the best start possible. Through extensive environmental exposure, socialization, and early stimulation, we prepare your puppy for a lifetime of learning. While not every puppy in the litter will become a service dog, we focus placing each one with the RIGHT family, whether they are service dog candidates, therapy dogs, or cherished companions.

Trust us to nurture and guide your puppy every step of way.

Becka was born at Carolina Golden's and was part of the Lucy and Gus litter on January 7, 2022.  Both of her parents have full health clearances ; hips, elbows , eyes, heart and also all appropriate DNA testing.

Gigi is my service dog from Carolina Goldens.  I trained her with the guidance of Danielle Scruggs founder of Carolina Goldens.

About Us

Michelle's adult  life has always involved animals and helping others.  She has worked as a veterinarian technician for both domestic and exotic animals, exotic and domestic animal trainer, exotic animal and animal welfare outreach educator, zoo manager and wildlife rehabilitator.    She has a Masters degree in Counseling and has worked in both mental health and as a school counselor.  Throughout her life she has completed numerous trainings on animal behavior and operant conditioning as well as trauma and restorative practices.   Michelle herself  has a service dog that assists her with her own PTSD.   She decided to blend her passions together by breeding golden retrievers and training them to assist others as therapy and service dogs and teaching others how to train their companion animals to be the best furry family members as possible.

"Welcome to our journey of healing and hope! My service dog, Gigi, has been a true blessing in my life.  I trained her under the guidance of Danielle Scruggs from Carolina Golden's to be both my service dog and to do therapy work with others.  With her unique ability to connect with those in need, Gigi helps ground people and draw their attention to the present moment, allowing them to share their hearts with me. Inspired by her impact, I am excited to pursue my passion for breeding and training service dogs to help others experience the same and support that Gigi has brought into my life."
